About Me

Let's skip all the borings stuff and just get down to why I am here.

-::Video Games::-

First and foremost, I love video games, although I am sure you could have guessed that one on your own. I love talking about them almost as much as I love playing them. I am geek to the extreme (I use geek because I have always associated 'nerd' as being someone smarter than the average person - think Sheldon, anyone?).

I prefer PC games. I never really got into consoles, even though I do own a PS3 and occasionally find myself playing it.

Favorite games: Mass Effect series, Never Winter Nights, Beyond Good and Evil

Currently playing: Ys: Origin, Dead Space, Amnesia

Always playing: League of Legends, Guild Wars 2

I am not a huge fanatic, but I do enjoy a good anime series now and then. Here is what I have watched and enjoyed: Death Note, Claymore, Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, Vampire Hunter D, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic.

If you know of any series that you enjoyed, feel free to recommend them to me!

I don't watch a lot of cable. I generally just watch series and movies on Netflix.
As far as movies go, there are just too many to name. I don't have a favorite, but if it is sci-fi/fantasy related, you can bet I have seen it and love it.

Favorite series: Firefly (<3) It was short lived, and its cancellation broke my heart, but it will always be my favorite.

Currently watching: Nothing :(

I read a decent amount. My name takes inspiration from one of the books I enjoyed reading. I have a bad habit of "taking a break" from series, and kind of dabble in a little bit of everything. I have, for the most part, enjoyed just about everything I have read and so I would recommend anyone of the following series as a good read: Dragon Lance series, Wheel of Time, Vampire Chronicles, Maledicte

So, I don't know how it happened, but I somehow found myself reading 4 different books/series at the same time, all of which I find to be fairly good. I have organized them by interest Greatest > Least:

Aside from the usual (video games, books, anime)?

I love to draw, and I hope this will eventually get me into the gaming industry.

I love to collect skulls, not because I am a particularly morbid or macabre person, but they fascinate me.

I used to role play ALL the time on Never Winter Nights. If you did too, we can reminisce about old times. There isn't anything more grand than your own imagination.

I love animals. I have a cat who completely fits into the "world domination" ego, and a really big dog who is incredibly goofy and doesn't understand his own size (often thinks he's a lapdog or can sleep on the bed).
