About Us
But not really. Like every other creative endeavor here at CN, the name was just developed over time, at 3-in-the-morning sessions of brainstorming; truly the best time of day to make career-related decisions.
Clever Noob has gone through many transformations over time, going from being a Drupal website, to vBulletin, and now to IPB (its permanent home).
What started off as a humble hobby, has since turned into a thriving community with a huge fanbase and reputation for quality and a reliable source for unbiased views.
Our first claim to fame was in the early summer of 2012, where Julian produced the very first Indoctrination Theory Documentary for Mass Effect 3's controversial ending. Things basically took off from there, getting global attention.

But Clever Noob isn't about the videos, the contests, or even the attention from famous people and companies. Clever Noob is about our community. We're truly the first community in the Gaming Industry that has valued "being nice" above all-else. You won't find your traditional gaming-forum jerks here. Why? Because we don't allow those people to stay.
We promote positivity here on the forums, not negativity.
Stop looking like a foo' with your pants on the ground, and go register!
